Updated access to care standards for PCP’s and behavioral health providers

Primary care providers (PCPs) accept responsibility for arranging and coordinating members’ overall healthcare. A PCP is a physician (M.D. or D.O.) who is board-certified or trained in internal medicine, pediatrics, or family medicine. Pursuant to state law, some PCPs are duly licensed and appropriately certified nurse practitioners, physician assistants, as well as some Ob/Gyns who provide primary care services.

Our Access to Care Standards have been updated for PCP’s and behavioral health providers.
