BCBSRI is in contact with government officials so we can share up-to-date information regarding coronavirus disease (COVID-19) with our members, customers, employees, and the provider community. BCBSRI has created a new payment policy for laboratory testing called Temporary Coronavirus Laboratory Testing. BCBSRI will waive all member cost share for BCBSRI members for laboratory testing related to COVID-19 as outlined in the policy. Providers should not collect cost share from a member in accordance with the policy.
