Training 2:
Integrating Care to Improve OUD Outcomes

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the training, participants should be able to:

  • Describe gaps in the cascade of care for OUD
  • Identify three risk factors for OUD related adverse outcomes that providers can help reduce
  • Discuss ways to help persons served access evidence based treatment for OUD
  • Describe the collaborative care model and how it may improve retention in treatment

Presenter:  Vikram Kambampati, MD, MPH

  • Board-Certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine
  • Experienced in treating persons with addictions and psychiatric conditions
  • Administrative experience in population health approach

Who Should Attend? These trainings are designed for professional level licenses including, Psychologists, Social Workers, Nurses, Licensed Professional Counselors/Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists and anyone that provides treatment of substance use disorders.
