The BCBSRI Quality Concierge Team is a team of nurses and highly qualified healthcare quality professionals who are here to serve our providers – and ultimately our members – to achieve high-quality performance and better member outcomes.

If you have not previously participated in our PCP Quality Incentive Program (PQIP), we would love to connect and help you navigate the program and maximize your potential quality incentive earnings.

In PQIP, primary care providers are rewarded for high achievement across several Medicare and commercial quality measures such as breast cancer screening, colorectal cancer screening, and diabetes care. Providers who participate will receive monthly reporting on members that belong to your practice who may have open care gaps in any number of these measures. We help you identify members that may be due for an important preventative screening to make it easier to address these gaps when you are discussing preventive services with your patients. We also provide guidance on how to share data with BCBSRI to earn credit in the PQIP program.

Additionally, in 2024, we will host no-cost screening events throughout the year, such as bone health screenings, that you can share with your members who may benefit.
