Following the first annual LGBTQ Cultural Competency Summit, which took place last October in Washington, DC, experts around the country assembled a draft of Best and Promising Practices for LGBTQ cultural competency trainings for health care providers and staff. This proposal will be disseminated widely, to health care providers, educators, researchers and patient advocates throughout the country, for review and feedback. We are interested in including providers in our BCBS network who are interested in reviewing these best practices and offer feedback. Please contact Guillaume Bagal if you are interested.
