Effective 1 de enero de 2025, BCBSRI has moved from facility contracting and billing and will start credentialing licensed chemical dependency professionals (LCDPs) individually.

BCBSRI will require that all LCDPs are individually credentialing by 1 de febrero de 2025. Providers will be able to continue services and bill under the contracted facility Type 2 NPI until 1 de febrero de 2025.
