As a specialist/specialist office, you should have access to our referral tool, Health Trio.

Specialists are set up in Health Trio to search for member referrals. We set up this access for Specialists to review referrals on file, instead of having to reach out to the member’s PCP’s office for the referral number. Specialists should not be contacting the member’s PCP office to obtain the referral number and should be utilizing Health Trio to obtain that information.

Specialist are required to render services to the patient without the referral. PCPs have 180 days to backdate a referral in Health Trio.
