eviCore authorizations – COVID-19 update

During the COVID-19 pandemic, eviCore has increased their authorization span from 90 to 180 days. Any authorizations that are already loaded into our system prior to eviCore updating their system will be updated on 20 de abril de 2020. This will eliminate the burden of you as the provider having to call and/or request a new authorization. Obtaining new authorizations will result in overlapping dates and could result in claim denials.
