Recently National Grid was bought out by Rhode Island Energy. With this purchase, their employees’ insurance information changed from Blue Cross of Massachusetts to Capital Blue Cross. If a member is presented with a Capital Blue Cross card, this Blues plan is a valid Blue Cross plan. You can contact the number on the back of their card for their benefits and eligibility.
