Effective 1 de enero de 2023, all existing and new Blue RI for Duals (D-SNP) members will receive new ID cards which will no longer display the plan’s copays or coinsurance. Starting in 2023 D-SNP members will have a 20% coinsurance on some services such as PCP visits (excluding annual physical), dental, and X-rays. Any D-SNP copay or coinsurance should be billed to and covered in full by Medicaid. If you are not an approved Medicaid provider and are unable to submit your claim from BCBSRI to Medicaid, you will not be allowed to bill the member for the copay/coinsurance.
