01/1/2024 Updates

  • Effective 1 de enero de 2024, Mental Health Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapist will be allowed to render services to Medicare members. 
  • We are removing the referral requirement for Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, for Medicare Advantage and Commercial Plans. Referrals will no longer be required for these two specialties as of 1 de enero de 2024.
  • We are removing the referral requirement for Speech Therapy for Medicare Advantage only effective 1 de enero de 2024.
  • Access Product – Access Product will now be open to Prospect PCP’s. 
  • Eye Med
    • If a provider is participating with Eye Med, the provider will file their hardware claim to Eye Med for reimbursement. 
    • If a provider is non-participating with Eye Med, the member will need to file their hardware claim to Eye Med.
